The Atari Ya in North Finchley, is my favorite fishmongers in North London. Be warned though, this is not like your normal English fish monger.
Fresh Sushi and Sashimi are the order of the day with prices per 100grms. All is cut for you and freshly prepared, with the Salmon and Fatty Tuna being of excellent quality.
There is also a fresh fish counter, selling everything from cod to live Lobsters, monkfish, razor clams etc. Also priced per 100grms and sold whole but filleted if you ask.
One not to miss there is also their traditionally marinated fish, black Cod in miso being a firm favorite.
The shop is also a Japanese supermarket, selling everything else you need to have a traditional Japenese meal, Nori, Sushi Rice etc (all alot cheaper than English Supermarkets).
All I can say is give it a go!
